a body found near the area where 10-rigell jessica ridgeway was last seen. it was about 7 miles from where the fifth grader disappeared. jessica's mother says she last saw her daughter when she left for school on friday. police said no additional comments about the body during a news conference this morning but said they will continue searching today. rescue workers have freed a construction worker trapped in the rubble for about 12 hours after a parking garage collapsed at a florida college. the rescue began wednesday afternoon after the roof of a five-story garage fell, creating a pancake-style collapse at miami dade college. rescuers heard his cries from amid the rubble. emergency crews pulled the man out around 1:00 a.m. this morning. eight other workers were injured and two killed. another worker is missing and presumed dead. the scene will be survey to try to determine what caused the accident. weekend of 1 jack painter and character is all wet, but that will not bother him because he sketched his way into the guinness book of world records by drawing 10 caricatures under water

your money report of the morning. >> good morning, jessica doyle. >> good morning. we have earnings season starting on wall street today. it's going to be big doings the next couple of weeks. traders don't have the greatest of expectations. analysts are expecting companies to post an overall decline in profits for the first time in nearly three years. today that marks the five-year anniversary of the record high closes of the dow and s&p 500. both indexes right now currently about 7% below those levels. not terribly below. check be the numbers the dow starts this morning at 13,583 after dropping 267 points in -- 27 points in trading. nasdaq was down by about 24. the s&p 500 was down by 5. economic slowdowns in asia and europe and worries about u.s. corporate profits have some analysts predicting a possible pullback in the stock market. so we'll keep our eyes on that also on this. germany's chancellor is in athens today for talks with greece's prime minister. the two are expected to discuss the country's financial crisis. greek police have been stepping up security and they're prepar

on the investigation. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. as the search for jessica ridgeway enters its fifth day, police have no suspects or persons of interest, but they did find the 10-year-old's backpack which is now being tested as a potential piece of forensic evidence. more than 100 members of law enforcement are searching for jessica ridgeway, a search that has expanded into neighborhoods, open fields and bodies of water near her home. on sunday jessica's backpack was found about six miles from the missing 10-year-old's house. it's now being examined by the colorado bureau of investigation. >> they are analyzing that, along with some dna samples that we took from the family. >> reporter: police say the fifth grader was last seen while walking to school friday morning. >> we do have some witness information that really makes us believe at 8:30 she was on her way to school and that she did not make it. >> reporter: jessica's school is about a third of a mile from her home. police say her mother, who works overnight, was home sleeping when the school left a message to say jessica had not arr
